Jephthah then called together the men of Gilead and fought against Ephraim.

And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of tob.

That the daughters of Israel went yearly to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in a year.

The men of Ephraim called out their forces, crossed over to Zaphon and said to Jephthah, "Why did you go to fight the Ammonites without calling us to go with you?"
