And Balaam went with Balak, and they came unto Kirjathhuzoth.

Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

Balaam said to God, "Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, sent me this message".
巴兰回答说，是摩押王西拨的儿子巴勒打发人到我这里来，说。
And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
24：25于是巴兰起来，回他本地去。巴勒也回去了。
And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
巴勒就照着巴兰所说的行了，在每座祭坛上，献上一头公牛和一只公绵羊。
And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet the LORD yonder.
23：15巴兰对巴勒说，你站在这燔祭旁边，等我往那边去迎见耶和华。
Balaam said to Balak, "Stay here beside your offering while I meet with him over there."

Balak did as Balaam said, and the two of them offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

The next morning Balak took Balaam up to Bamoth Baal, and from there he saw part of the people.
到了早晨，巴勒领巴兰到巴力的高处，巴兰从那里观看以色列营的边界。
And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.

And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven oxen and seven RAMS.
23：1巴兰对巴勒说，你在这里给我筑七座坛，为我预备七只公牛，七只公羊。
And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.
耶和华将话传给巴兰，又说，你回到巴勒那里，要如此如此说。
And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven RAMS.
巴兰对巴勒说，你在这里为我筑七座坛，又在这里为我预备七只公牛，七只公羊。
They came to Balaam and said: "This is what Balak son of Zippor says: Do not let anything keep you from coming to me."
他们到了巴兰那里，对他说：“西拨的儿子巴勒这样说：求你不容什么事拦阻你不到我这里来？”
Then Balaam said to Balak, "Stay here beside your offering while I go aside. Perhaps the Lord will come to meet with me.
巴兰对巴勒说：“你站在你的燔祭旁边，我且往前去，或者耶和华来迎见我，他指示我什么，我必告诉你。”
They came to Balaam and said: "This is what Balak son of Zippor says: Do not let anything keep you from coming to me".

When Balak son of Zippor, the king of Moab, prepared to fight against Israel, he sent for Balaam son of Beor to put a curse on you.
那时，摩押王西拨的儿子巴勒起来攻击以色列人，打发人召了比珥的儿子巴兰来咒诅你们。
When Balak heard that Balaam was coming, he went out to meet him at the Moabite town on the Arnon border, at the edge of his territory.
巴勒听见巴兰来了，就往摩押京城去迎接他，这城是在边界上，在亚嫩河旁。
And they came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus saith Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray thee, hinder thee from coming unto me.

And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.
23：11巴勒对巴兰说，你向我作的是什么事呢，我领你来咒诅我的仇敌，不料，你竟为他们祝福。
The elders of Moab and Midian left, taking with them the fee for divination. When they came to Balaam, they told him what Balak had said.
摩押的长老和米甸的长老手里拿着卦金到了巴兰那里，将巴勒的话都告诉了他。
Then Balaam uttered his oracle: "Balak brought me from Aram, the king of Moab from the eastern mountains. 'Come,' he said, 'curse Jacob for me; come, denounce Israel.'
巴兰便题起诗歌说：“巴勒引我出亚兰；摩押王引我出东山， 说：‘来啊，为我咒诅雅各；来啊，怒骂以色列。’
And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.
摩押的长老和米甸的长老手里拿着卦金，到了巴兰那里，将巴勒的话都告诉了他。
Then Balaam uttered his oracle: "Balak brought me from Aram, the king of Moab from the eastern mountains. 'Come, ' he said, 'curse Jacob for me; come, denounce Israel.'
巴兰便题起诗歌说：“巴勒引我出亚兰；摩押王引我出东山， 说：‘来啊，为我咒诅雅各；来啊，怒骂以色列。’
But Balaam answered them, "Even if Balak gave me his palace filled with silver and gold, I could not do anything great or small to go beyond the command of the Lord my God."
巴兰回答巴勒的臣仆说：“巴勒就是将他满屋的金银给我，我行大事小事也不得越过耶和华我神的命。”
If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?
巴勒就是将他满屋的金银给我，我也不得越过耶和华的命，凭自己的心意行好行歹。
Even if Balak gave me his palace filled with silver and gold, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord -and I must say only what the Lord says'?
‘巴勒就是将他满屋的金银给我，我也不得越过耶和华的命，凭自己的心意行好行歹，耶和华说什么，我就要说什么’？
Even if Balak gave me his palace filled with silver and gold, I could not do anything of my own accord, good or bad, to go beyond the command of the Lord -and I must say only what the Lord says'?
