Common side effects were EPS (23%) and insomnia (15%) which responded to artane and benzodiazepine, other side effects were rare. The side effects were related to the dosage of risperidone.
常见的副作用为EPS(23%)及失眠(15%)，以安坦及苯二氮类药处理有效，其它副作用不多见，副作用与利培酮剂量有关。
