And Bathsheba bowed, and did obeisance unto the king. And the king said, What wouldest thou?

And one said, is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?
他施和海岛的王要进贡。示巴和西巴的王要献礼物。
The Kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the Kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
于是，拔示巴去见所罗门王，要为亚多尼雅提说。
Bathsheba therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah.
为甚么上帝在以撒到别示巴的那一夜向他显现呢？
Why did it come to Isaac in the night on which he reached Beer-sheba?

And now I ask one petition of thee, deny me not. And she said unto him, Say on.
大卫王吩咐说，叫拔示巴来。拔示巴就进来，站在王面前。
Then king David answered and said, Call me Bathsheba. And she came into the king's presence, and stood before the king.
拔示巴说，求你将书念的女子亚比煞赐给你哥哥亚多尼雅为妻。
So she said, 'Let Abishag the Shunammite be given in marriage to your brother Adonijah.'
大卫王吩咐说：“叫拔示巴来。”拔示巴就进来，站在王面前。
Then king David answered, "Call Bathsheba to me." So she came into the king's presence and stood before the king.
他觉悟了，决意离开那争闹之地，上别示巴去，另换一个环境。
Even after the strife was past, the place retained a disagreeable association. He determined to leave. He sought change of scene.
尸身从路上挪移之后，众民就都跟随约押去追赶比基利的儿子示巴。
When he was removed out of the highway, all the people went on after Joab, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.
哈及的儿子亚多尼雅去见所罗门的母亲拔示巴，拔示巴问他说，你来是为平安吗？
Now Adonijah, the son of Haggith, went to Bathsheba, Solomon's mother. Bathsheba asked him, 'Do you come peacefully?'
大卫就差人打听那妇人是谁。有人说，她是以连的女儿，赫人乌利亚的妻拔示巴。
And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?
示巴和拉玛的商人与你交易，他们用各类上好的香料，各类的宝石，和黄金兑换你的货物。
The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

Then Nathan asked Bathsheba, Solomon's mother, 'Have you not heard that Adonijah, the son of Haggith, has become king without our Lord David's knowing it?
乃因以法莲山地的一个人比基利的儿子示巴举手攻击大卫王，你们若将他一人交出来，我便离城而去。
The matter is not so: but a man of mount Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name, hath lifted up his hand against the king, even against David: deliver him only, and I will depart from the city.

但王的女儿约示巴将亚哈谢的儿子约阿施从那被杀的王子中偷出来，把他和他的乳母都藏在卧房里。
But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber.
哈及的儿子亚多尼雅去见所罗门的母亲拔示巴，拔示巴问他说，你来是为平安吗。回答说，是为平安。
And Adonijah the son of Haggith came to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon. And she said, Comest thou peaceably? And he said, peaceably.
拿单对所罗门的母亲拔示巴说：「哈及的儿子亚多尼雅作王了，你没有听见吗？我们的主大卫却不知道。
Then Nathan said to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, "Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith has become king and David our lord does not know it?"

And there went out after him Joab's men, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men: and they went out of Jerusalem, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.
