耶和华说，以扫不是雅各的哥哥吗。
Was not Esau Jacob's brother? Saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob?
耶和华说，以扫不是雅各的哥哥么。
"Was not Esau Jacob's brother?" the LORD says. "Yet I have loved Jacob."
于是，以扫当日起行，回往西珥去了。
于是，以扫住在西珥山里；以扫就是以东。
So Esau (that is, Edom) settled in the hill country of Seir.
我是您的长子，以扫。
有一天，雅各熬汤，以扫从田野回来累昏了。
And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint.
我刚要换衣服，母亲说：“换上以扫的衣服。”
"Change into Esau's clothes." She said as I pulled them over my shirts.
以扫说：“我所遇见的这些群畜是什么意思呢？”
以扫又说，你没有留下为我可祝的福吗。
以扫是西珥山里以东人的始祖，他的后代记在下面。
And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount seir.
又把雅各和以扫赐给以撒，将西珥山赐给以扫为业。
以扫就对他起了誓，把长子的名分卖给雅各。
So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.
以扫的隐密处，何竟被搜寻。他隐藏的宝物何竟被查出。
How are the things of Esau searched out! How are his hidden things sought up!
恶以扫，使他的山岭荒凉，把他的地业交给旷野的野狗。
And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
他父亲以撒对他说，你是谁，他说，我是你的长子以扫。
And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau.
雅各打发人先往西珥地去，就是以东地，见他哥哥以扫。
Jacob sent messengers ahead of him to his brother Esau in the land of Seir, the country of Edom.
必有拯救者上到锡安山，审判以扫山，国度就归耶和华了。
And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.
利百加就对她儿子雅各说，我听见你父亲对你哥哥以扫说。
And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying.
利百加又把家里所存大儿子以扫上好的衣服给她小儿子雅各穿上
Then Rebekah took the best clothes of Esau her older son, which she had in the house, and put them on her younger son Jacob.
于是雅各将饼和红豆汤给了以扫，以扫吃了喝了，便起来走了。
25：28以撒爱以扫，因为常吃他的野味。利百加却爱雅各。
And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
利百加就对她儿子雅各说：“我听见你父亲对你哥哥以扫说。”
Rebekah said to her son Jacob, "Look, I overheard your father say to your brother esau."
你说起话来像是雅各布，可是你的手臂却像以扫的手臂一样粗壮。
You sound like Jacob, but yet your arms are rough like Esau's.
以扫听了他父亲的话，就放声痛哭，说，我父阿，求你也为我祝福。
And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, o my father.
雅各对他父亲说：“我是你的长子以扫；我已照你所吩咐我的行了。”
Jacob said to his father, "I am Esau your firstborn." I have done as you told me.
耶和华说，到那日，我岂不从以东除灭智慧人，从以扫山除灭聪明人。
Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?
当夜，雅各在那里住宿，就从他所有的物中拿礼物要送给他哥哥以扫。
He spent the night there, and from what he had with him he selected a gift for his brother esau.
