Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments.
雅各就对他家中的人并一切与他同在的人说，你们要除掉你们中间的外邦神，也要自洁，更换衣裳。
Then Jacob called for his sons and said: "Gather around so I can tell you what will happen to you in days to come.

Then God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream at night and said to him, "Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad."
夜间，神到亚兰人拉班那里，在梦中对他说：“你要小心，不可与雅各说好说歹！”
Then Jacob prayed, "O God of my father Abraham, God of my father Isaac, O Lord , who said to me, 'Go back to your country and your relatives, and I will make you prosper,'
雅各说：“耶和华我祖亚伯拉罕的神，我父亲以撒的神啊，你曾对我说：‘回你本地本族去，我要厚待你。’
Then Jacob prayed, "O God of my father Abraham, God of my father Isaac, O Lord , who said to me, 'Go back to your country and your relatives, and I will make you prosper, '

Then the LORD said to him, "This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, 'I will give it to your descendants.'

Then Balaam uttered his oracle: "Balak brought me from Aram, the king of Moab from the eastern mountains. 'Come,' he said, 'curse Jacob for me; come, denounce Israel.'
巴兰便题起诗歌说：“巴勒引我出亚兰；摩押王引我出东山， 说：‘来啊，为我咒诅雅各；来啊，怒骂以色列。’

Then Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain and said, "This is what you are to say to the house of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel

Then Laban said to Jacob, "What have you done?" You've deceived me, and you've carried off my daughters like captives in war.
拉班对雅各说：“你做的是什么事呢？”你背着我偷走了，又把我的女儿们带了去，如同用刀剑掳去的一般。
Then Laban said to Jacob, "What have you done?"

Then the Lord said to Jacob, "Go back to the land of your fathers and to your relatives, and I will be with you."
耶和华对雅各说：“你要回你祖你父之地，到你亲族那里去，我必与你同在。”
Then Joseph said to his borthers, "I am about to die. But God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land he promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob."
约瑟对他弟兄们说：“我要死了，但上帝必定看顾你们，领你们从这地上去，到他起誓所应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地。”
Then said I, o Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? For he is small.
我就说、主耶和华阿、求你止息。因为雅各微弱、他怎能站立得住呢。
Then the LORD said to him, This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, 'I will give it to your descendants.
耶和华对他说、这就是我向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、起誓应许之地、说、我必将这地赐给你的后裔。
Then he said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob."
