If yewill do as I say, ye have these and ten thousand other good things, with noservile labour; but if ye will not do as I say, ye have labours like that ofyesterday innumerable.
如果你们听我的话，你们今后将拥有这些和成千上万其它的好东西，并且不会被人奴役劳作。但如果你们不听我的话，你们就都像昨天那样有无尽的苦力要做。
But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

我要指示你们当怕的是谁。当怕那杀了以后，又有权柄丢在地狱里的。
The hour when ye say: "What good is my happiness! It is poverty and pollution and wretched self-complacency. But my happiness should justify existence itself!"
在那个时刻，你们说：我的幸福有什么意义！它是贫乏、污秽与可怜的自满。可是我的幸福正应当证明存在本身的正当性！
But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
你们出去，究竟是为什么，是要看先知么。我告诉你们，是的，他比先知大多了。
Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, the prophets say unto them, ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.
主耶和华阿，那些先知常对他们说，你们必不看见刀剑，也不遭遇饥荒。耶和华要在这地方赐你们长久的平安。
Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
我却认识他。 我若说不认识他，我就是说谎的，像你们一样，但我认识他，也遵守他的道。
Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife.
任凭向我要多重的聘金和礼物，我必照你们所说的给你们。只要把女子给我为妻。
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive SINS, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

无论进那一城，人若不接待你们，你们就到街上去。
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
但是我告诉你们，不可报复恶行为。无论谁在你右边咀巴上给你一个耳刮子，你连左边也要转过来给他打。
But if ye say, we will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God.
倘若你们说，我们不住在这地，以致不听从耶和华你们神的话。
And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
又问他们说：你们说我是谁？
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
只是我告诉你们，不要与恶人作对。有人打你的右脸，连左脸也转过来由他打。
Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
我实实在在地告诉你们：你们将要痛哭、哀号，世人倒要喜乐；你们将要忧愁，然而你们的忧愁要变为喜乐。
Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
我实实在在地告诉你们：你们将要痛哭、哀号，世人倒要喜乐；你们将要忧愁，然而你们的忧愁要变为喜乐。
