And Jehu said, proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.

Jehu said, 'Come with me and see my zeal for the Lord.' Then he had him ride along in his chariot.
耶户说，将首级在城门口堆作两堆，搁到明日。
Then Jehu ordered, 'Put them in two piles at the entrance of the city gate until morning.'
耶户说，若合你们的意思，就不容人逃出城往耶斯列报信去。
And Jehu said, If it be your minds, then let none go forth nor escape out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel.

他们回去告诉耶户，耶户说，这正应验耶和华借他仆人提斯比人以利亚所说的话，说，在耶斯列田间，狗必吃耶洗别的肉。
They went back and told Jehu, who said, 'This is the word of the Lord that he spoke through his servant Elijah the Tishbite: On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs will devour Jezebel's flesh.
耶户对他的军长毕甲说，你把他抛在耶斯列人拿伯的田间。
Jehu said to Bidkar, his chariot officer, 'Pick him up and throw him on the field that belonged to Naboth the Jezreelite.
于是耶利米对他说，耶和华不是叫你的名为巴施户珥，乃是叫你玛歌珥米撒毕(就是四面惊吓的意思)。
Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib.

Then Jehu and Jehonadab son of Recab went into the temple of Baal. Jehu said to the ministers of Baal, 'Look around and see that no servants of the Lord are here with you-only ministers of Baal.'
耶户吩咐掌管礼服的人说，拿出礼服来，给一切拜巴力的人穿。
And Jehu said to the keeper of the wardrobe, 'Bring robes for all the ministers of Baal.'
犹大王亚玛谢与群臣商议，就差遣使者去见耶户的孙子，约哈斯的儿子，以色列王约阿施，说，你来，我们二人相见于战场。
After Amaziah king of Judah consulted his advisers, he sent this challenge to Jehoash son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel: 'Come, meet me face to face.'
9：13他们就急忙各将自己的衣服铺在上层台阶，使耶户坐在其上。他们吹角，说，耶户作王了。
Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.
9：6耶户就起来，进了屋子，少年人将膏油倒在他头上，对他说，耶和华以色列的神如此说，我膏你作耶和华民以色列的王。
And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.
耶户进去，吃了喝了，吩咐说，你们把这被咒诅的妇人葬埋了，因为她是王的女儿。
Jehu went in and ate and drank. 'Take care of that cursed woman,' he said, 'and bury her, for she was a king's daughter.'
10：9次日早晨，耶户出来，站着对众民说，你们都是公义的，我背叛我主人，将他杀了。这些人却是谁杀的呢。
And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these?
耶户从那里前行，恰遇利甲的儿子约拿达来迎接他，耶户问他安，对他说，你诚心待我像我诚心待你吗？
After he left there, he came upon Jehonadab son of Recab, who was on his way to meet him. Jehu greeted him and said, 'Are you in accord with me, as I am with you?'
耶户又给他们写信说，你们若归顺我，听从我的话，明日这时候，要将你们主人众子的首级带到耶斯列来见我。
Then Jehu wrote them a second letter, saying, 'If you are on my side and will obey me, take the heads of your master's sons and come to me in Jezreel by this time tomorrow.'
9：34耶户进去，吃了喝了，吩咐说，你们把这被咒诅的妇人葬埋了，因为她是王的女儿。
And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king's daughter.
他们吹角，说，耶户作王了。
骑马的就去迎接耶户，说，王问说，平安不平安。
The horseman rode off to meet Jehu and said, 'This is what the king says:' Do you come in peace? '.
耶户追赶他，说，把这人也杀在车上。
And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot.
