Extraction processes for water soluble alkaloids from Rauvolfia vomitoria Afzel with various mixed solvent systems were described.

Objective: To explore the effects of the soluble Semen Raphani alkaloids on spontaneous hypertensive rats (SHR) and on cardiovascular remodeling.
结果：分离得到厚朴酚与和厚朴酚，并且提取出脂溶性和水溶性两类生物碱。
Results: Magnolol and honokiol were isolated successfully, and two fractions of alkaloids were obtained.
