扫罗对撒母耳说：”我有罪了！
扫罗就起来，和撒母耳一同出去。
扫罗的臣仆就照这话说给大卫听。
撒母耳对扫罗说：“你住口吧！”
当日，扫罗就与撒母耳同席。
于是大卫向扫罗起誓，扫罗就回家去。
我父扫罗的手必不加害于你。
扫罗听见，便在玛云的旷野追赶大卫。
When Saul heard this, he went into the Desert of Maon in pursuit of David.
耶和华说：“扫罗必下来。”
扫罗第三次打发人去，他们也受感说话。
扫罗对他儿子约拿单和众臣仆说要杀大卫。
Saul told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David.
于是扫罗不追赶大卫，回去攻打非利士人。
Then Saul broke off his pursuit of David and went to meet the Philistines.
扫罗若听见，必要杀我。
那些都是庄重的征兆，所以扫罗遵从了它们。
扫罗问他说：“少年人哪，你是谁的儿子。”
这事我父扫罗知道了。
扫罗回头观看，大卫就屈身，脸伏于地下拜。
When Saul looked behind him, David bowed down and prostrated himself with his face to the ground.
扫罗天天寻索大卫，神却不将大卫交在他手里。
Day after day Saul searched for him, but God did not give David into his hands.
扫罗说，我有罪了。
扫罗就献上燔祭。
扫罗求问神说：“我下去追赶非利士人可以不可以。
大卫用这话拦住跟随他的人，不容他们起来害扫罗。
With these words David rebuked his men and did not allow them to attack Saul.
扫罗说：“愿耶和华赐福与你们，因你们顾恤我。”
扫罗惧怕大卫，因为耶和华离开自己，与大卫同在。
Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with David but had left Saul.
于是撒母耳转身跟随扫罗回去，扫罗就敬拜耶和华。
扫罗对仆人说：“我们若去，有什么可以送那人呢？”
Saul said to his servant, "If we go, what can we give the man?"
扫罗的次女米甲爱大卫。有人告诉扫罗，扫罗就喜悦。
Now Saul's daughter Michal was in love with David, and when they told Saul about it, he was pleased.
他来见我，站在旁边，对我说，兄弟扫罗，你可以看见。
Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight.
有人告诉扫罗，大卫离开基伊拉逃走。于是扫罗不出来了。
When Saul was told that David had escaped from Keilah, he did not go there.
