The artistic director of the Young Vic, David Lan, has programed five thrillingly radical dramas for his main house.

In 2001, they wrote the score and lyrics for the musical Closer to Heaven, while last year they provided music for David Almond's play My Dad's a Birdman at London's Young Vic.

She will reprise the role when the play is revived at the Young Vic in April and said it would be "an opportunity to have another crack at what is an extraordinarily rich part".
