Adrian Locke, 39, of Wych Road, Droitwich, was found outside number 42a on the same road and confirmed dead at the scene a short time later.

The painting was given to the Trust by the estate of Edna, Lady Samuel of Wych Cross, whose late husband Harold, Lord Samuel of Wych Cross was a keen art collector and philanthropist.

It previously belonged to the Princes of Liechtenstein, and was given to the National Trust in 2010 as a gift from the estate of the late Edna, Lady Samuel of Wych Cross, whose husband Harold, Lord Samuel of Wych Cross, collected a great number of paintings during his lifetime.
