Clarke, who works as a poet, playwright, editor, creative writingtutor and translator is well known in schools across the UK as a set-text poet for GCSE and A-level English.
He also began taking classes in Japanese at the Japan Society and seeing a math tutor, with whom he worked on writing software for winning at blackjack and poker.
