Through time, Wrightbus will use the partnership to fully develop their own chassis design.

There are currently eight prototype buses being used across the streets of London, built by firm Wrightbus.
The partnership will initially see Wrightbus build their buses around a VDL chassis.
Discussions are ongoing between Wrightbus and Transport for London, the organisation that has responsibility for public transport in London.
The deal between Wrightbus in Ballymena and VDL Groep in Eindhoven is for the supply of buses to operator Arriva.
Mr Poynton said that as the price of fuel continued to rise, Wrightbus was getting inquiries from all over the world.
Wrightbus is working with the ISE Corporation of California to deliver the new buses in which hydrogen is used to power an electric drive system.
"As there is no carbon in the fuel, hydrogen-powered vehicles produce no carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide or particulate emissions, " said Wrightbus business development director Jonathan Poynton.
Mr Johnson, who has long campaigned for a new bus for London, visited Wrightbus last November and described the design as a piece of "world class technology".
