There is a minor issue with the D-Pad - it is not a joystick like on the K700, but a joystick looking select button surround by a D-Pad.
Since the embedded gyroscopes are used along with the d-pad and analog stick for navigation, selecting the right menu option feels akin to whack-a-mole -- unless the controller is held impossibly still.
Navigating the menus wasn't a hassle with the circular D-pad, and although apps weren't booting instantly, you couldn't call the user experience slow or at all frustrating.

The basic operation is simple enough, with triggers, face buttons, a d-pad and everything else you'd need to ape a modern console controller.
In May, Samsung will release a Game Arcade gamepad that looks very similar to an Xbox 360 controller with dual analog sticks and shoulder, D-pad and four face buttons.

The keypad is plenty usable, with large metallic keys, but the recessed d-pad makes navigation a bit of a chore.
Actually, it's more accurate to say that it's 95 percent BlackJack and 5 percent improvement, with a more inward-slanted, square d-pad that makes it considerably harder to accidentally hit the surrounding controls, and angled keys that offer an embedded numeric pad in the proper configuration (we appreciate what Samsung tried to do with the original BlackJack's every-other-key layout, but in practice, it just didn't work out).
Well, the Asha 205 QWERTY device is definitely targeting the more social user, with a dedicated Facebook button nestled to the left of the D-pad.

Though it sacrifices genuine leather in favor of a rubber coating, its contours and features are similar, down to the Engine Start button (here, a d-pad) and the turn signals (replaced with face buttons).

We eventually got to the Facebook Java app hidden inside the Applications folder -- apparently right-click on the D-pad should launch it but we had no luck with that.
The differences from Moga's previous iteration are clear and many: a rechargeable battery built in, a d-pad, larger face buttons, full analog sticks with click, and shoulder buttons just above triggers (and a backlight, if you're into that kinda thing).
