Post Office Ltd said the relocation followed successful trials of six post offices in WH Smith stores, which will be extended to a further 32 locations this year.
To end these inefficiencies, WH Smith has decided to use its own wholesale operation, which already supplies more than 40% of the market, to establish a national distribution system.
