We're starting here in Iowa, we're going to Colorado, then we're going to go to Nevada, then we're going to Florida, Virginia, Ohio. (Applause.) I am going to stop in Chicago to vote. (Applause.) We've got early vote in Illinois just like we've got early vote here in Iowa.
We have just got to sit here and let them grit the road and get the snow ploughs out.
Just before we got here, Congress did the right thing and voted to make sure that taxes would not go up on middle-class families at the end of this month. (Applause.) Congress also agreed to extend unemployment insurance for millions of Americans -- maybe some of your family members -- who are still out there looking for a job.

That day was really hard for me because I thought, god, I just got here and we already lost like two kids.
By the time Ike got here, we just had - you know a decent storm here in the Caribbean but it didn't feel like a hurricane coming through.

And that is just a false moving of the chains here when we -- you got to compare apples to apples.
We've got some wonderful guests who are here as well, and I just want to make mention of them very quickly.
If we want a recovery the lasts, if we want an economy that really grows again, we've got to rebuild stronger than before -- just like you're doing here in New Orleans.
