Somebody asked me the other day whether you've already found Martians. (Laughter.) I told them we have to give you a little bit of time.
So I'm going to go back shopping -- (laughter) -- because we still have a couple of more days, and we're going to pick up some more toys for 11- to 14-year-olds.
But I tell you what, you West Virginians owe a lot of people in Delaware for a lot of money we should have gotten and you got. (Laughter.) I just want you to know that.
The main thing tonight, though, is we expect you to have a good time. (Laughter.) So, with that, what I'd like to do is to offer a toast.
In the midst of this comedy recession where we have witnessed a severe contraction in our GDL -- gross domestic laughter -- there is one potential goldmine that could use a bit more exploration.
In order for me to get on a site like Twitter, the computer guys had to go do whatever the computer guys do and -- but at the same time -- (laughter) -- that's why we have computer guys, right?
If I had known, we would have maybe rolled out a cake or something. (Laughter.) But have fun.
And then, to top it off, we're going to let you guys try some of the dessert -- (laughter) -- that we're going to have.

Let me tell you, I feel extraordinarily confident, in part because of the great friends here who -- some of you have been with me since 2007, when nobody could pronounce my name. (Laughter.) I also feel enormous confidence because we have an extraordinarily dynamic new DNC chair in Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
And I appreciate the contribution to our communications thinking. (Laughter.) The fact of the matter is we have been very clear that we believe unemployment insurance has to be extended, and we believe that all of the provisions that are expiring at the end of the year need to be part of the conversation here and part of the discussion.
And, by the way, we want our sons in that, but we also want our daughters. (Applause.) I don't know if you were listening last night, but, see, we don't have to order up some binders -- (laughter) -- to find qualified, talented, driven young women to learn and teach and thrive and start businesses. (Applause.) And when these young women graduate, we should make a very simple concept the rule: Equal pay for equal work.

We wanted to do this twice -- (laughter) -- because there are so many people we have to thank.
Bobby, first of all, if it makes you feel any better, I get that all the time. (Laughter.) And the second point is that even though we have our differences politically, one thing I will say is this person is working hard on behalf of the state -- (applause) -- and you've got to give people credit for working hard. (Applause.) He's a hardworking man.
Thank you for giving me an excuse to break out my green tie. (Laughter.) And I'm sure that we'll have a wonderful lunch up on Capitol Hill and once again be able to reaffirm the incredible friendship between our peoples.

It's been in the news lately. (Laughter.) Because of the health reform law that we passed, women finally have more power to make their choices about their health care. (Applause.) Last year, more than 20 million women received expanded access to preventive services like mammograms and cervical cancer screenings at no additional cost. (Applause.) Nearly 2 million women enrolled in Medicare received a 50-percent discount on the medicine that they need.
It has nothing to do -- (laughter) -- no, no, this has nothing to do -- we have been absolutely clear about the fact that this operation used a tactic that originated in a field office that was flawed, that was wrong, and that had terrible consequences for the Terry family, and should not have been employed.
Overseas just for a second before we get back to that issue. (Laughter.) On Pakistan, U.S. negotiators have been pulled out.
And they have their little cell phones, because they're more technologically efficient than we are. (Laughter.) She's about 16 -- she does it on her own.
Now, you may have noticed that my voice sounds just a little hoarse. (Laughter.) We are right in the middle of our 48-hour fly-around campaign extravaganza. (Applause.) We pulled an all-nighter last night.
