Now, a big part of the reason we started gdgt was because I think Peter and I both missed the early days of Engadget when wehada deeper connection with the readership.
Even in close proximity, the tech worked pretty quickly, as we only had to wait a few seconds for the media to load or for an adequate connection to be made.
Our only complaint with Airport has been that, while the signal passed through plasterboard and brick--letting us stay online even while enjoying fresh air in a courtyard a floor below and 100 feet from the base station--we had an intermittent connection from the room opening out into that courtyard.
