What do you think of Yasuaki Sakyo's vision for community-based learning?
The Group of international experts was tasked with preparing a succinct document that identified issues likely to affect the organisation of learning and to stimulate debate about a 21st century vision for education.
In this vision of the future networks will disband just as fast as they came together so learning to work with yourself and only yourself is going to be crucial to your success.
We need to rethink schools as incubators and producers of vision and progress for the places in which they exist, with students learning through real-world, applied subjects that are contextualized to their own backyard, and families, business, and citizens who contribute to, benefit from, and rally around that engagement.
