Gavin Davies has overseen a project to build a viewinggallery and classroom at Pennings Farm, near Pewsey, in a bid to improve the image of agriculture.
Plans also include the suspension of a Meteor and a Jaguar jet from the ceiling of the building with an elevated viewinggallery for visitors to see the planes hanging in mid-air.
He insisted that the machinery on the 165-foot assembly line be configured to move the circuit boards from right to left as they got built, so that the process would look better to visitors who watched from the viewinggallery.
Members are skilful at seeking the camera angles to disguise the paucity of their numbers from the viewing public, but from the Strangers' Gallery, it is an unimpressive sight.
