The best defense is offered by a small team of U.S. Marines, guided by the veteran hand of a staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart), which, taking its cue from highly decorated video games, meets and defeats the invaders at every turn, closing in on their underground command center and pausing only briefly to deliver what some historians have already hailed as the dumbest dialogue of the year.
