It's unclear just how many people have the condition, but the association said they might consider eating more unsaturated fats, found in vegetable and olive oils, nuts and avocados.
The total calorie count will stay the same, but the company hopes that by reducing saturated fats created in processing vegetable oil for cooking, it will be doing its part to fight heart disease.
Edgeley says it will use vegetable and plant oils, together with animal fats that are not fit for human consumption, all of which are independently audited and meet the government's sustainability criteria.
