Joppy has been out of the ring for 14 months and was fighting for the first time since the death of his baby daughter Vashti, whose name he wears on his shorts.
But a smaller and more unlikely musical revival can be traced to the reissue five years ago of a strange little record called "Just Another Diamond Day" by a woman named Vashti Bunyan.
