The new optional engine on Silverado and Sierra also beats out the 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway yielded by the 5.0L V-8 engine in two-wheel-drive versions of the F-150 and the 14 mpg in the city and 20 on the highway provided by a 4.7L V-8 engine in two-wheel drive versions of Ram.

The CR-V comes in two- and four-wheel drive LX, EX and EX-L versions that all get a combined 23 miles per gallon and offer standard features including remote entry, chrome trim, halogen headlights and MP3 compatibility.

It's a supercharged version of the rear-wheel-drive IS and will come with a 5.0-liter V-8 that delivers more than 400 horsepower.
