Google had previously acquired a slew of patents when it bought Motorola Mobility, a company that had been filing lawsuits against competitors usingthesestandards.
"TalkTalk demands high standards from the companies it works with and as a result TalkTalk immediately stopped usingthese suppliers, " said a spokesperson.
To meet thesestandards, new facilities will not be allowed to exceed emissions of the least polluting power plant currently using the same type of fuel.
