UnwiredPlanet, the company previously known as Openwave Systems, this morning said it has completed the sale of its Mediation and Messaging product lines to the investment firm Marlin Equity Partners.
Last week, UnwiredPlanet, a patent licensing company that once upon a time was an Internet services company called Openwave, announced a deal to acquire a portfolio of 2, 185 U.S. and international patents and patents pending from Ericsson.
