The experimenter tells the child he's going to leave the room for a little while, and that if the child doesn't eat the marshmallow untilhecomes back, he'll be rewarded with two marshmallows.
Until then, he deserves all the praise that comes his way for a week in which he showed that far from being on the verge of retirement, he is still a considerable force to be reckoned with.
"I can't be 'the Situation' forever, " he acknowledged, adding that he hopes to milk it for a little while longer (at least until the next TV gig comes along).
