Designer Sir Terence Conran has become an honorary professor at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA).

The University for the Creative Arts (UCA), which has campuses in Kent and Surrey, appointed Ms Rhodes as its first chancellor in 2010.

Guests at the ceremony on Thursday included UCA graduate Karen Millen and students, who were given the opportunity to put questions to Sir Terence.

After receiving the award for services to design, education and the creative arts at a ceremony at UCA Farnham, in Surrey, he said it was a "true honour".
