This new data deluge, sometimes known as Big Data, promises to provide us the opportunity toturninformation overload into an asset for better decision making by applying analytics.
From the perspective that these pieces provide, it is clear that the DOD cyberspace strategy is too narrowly focused on cyberspace as a technological domain that stores and transmits information-as-data, which in turn leads to a primary emphasis on defending the infrastructure itself (i.e. risks to) and its commodity.
