Travel posters are becoming increasingly popular among collectors in part as a result of the number of people who are using them to decorate their homes.

According to noted vintage poster dealer Jim Lapides, president of International Poster Gallery in Boston, pre-World War II travel posters are the most highly sought after, with posters dating to the post-war era quickly catching up in price.

Travel and transatlantic posters from the glory days of railways and Cunard, Niklaus Troxler's jazz posters from the 1970s and 1980s, and the late Rick Griffin's ironic psychedelic posters from the 1960s all of these display craft and art that is obvious to any viewer.
