For 2008, the state could see its first year-over-year decline since 2001, according to a spokeswoman for Visit Florida, a not-for-profit corporation that carries out the work of the Florida Commission on Tourism.
They have pledged to stimulate economic growth by dividing Sri Lanka into five economic regions, each of which will be presided over by an Economic Development Commission which will promote industry, agriculture, trade and tourism.
Some of it could be blamed on outside agencies entrusted by the commission to distribute aid in poor countries or to set up projects for vocational training or tourism.
