The real big innovation Brinkofski is working on could very well set Hulkshare apart from the rest of the file-hosting pack: Profile pages that artists could have total control over, something akin to a MySpace, Bandcamp, or Facebook page.
But its low profile has translated into an average annual total return over the past decade of 4.14%--dominated by the dividend it has paid and raised every year--that crushed the average annual total return of the broader market--characterized by low payouts, low yields and high growth expectations--of negative 1.81%.
It was signed by some of France's most high-profile chief executives, including Christophe de Margerie of oil firm Total, Frederic Oudea of bank Societe Generale, and Air France's Jean-Cyril Spinetta.
