The ambition for many who put thisnetwork together is to provide the same sort of political support that political machines offered in the late 19th and early 20th century -- organizational powerhouses that brought people into office and built support for their legislation.
Once thisnetwork is under construction, there will be a need for many different types of applications to be written to meet the special needs of the Public Safety community and most of these applications will be written by smaller developers who want to expand their client base.
