In fact at ten-to-nine in term time around 20% of traffic on our town centre or city roads is actually on the school run and thiscauses enormous problems - not only in congestion but also in terms of safety around the school gates.
The main problem appears to be bad posture when using the laptop on your, uh, lap -- hunching over in this way apparently causes chronic back problems in all sorts of people.
And the point of this is that any attempt to solve whatever problems we think this might be causing must get the original causes of the problem right in the first place.
