We understand that in this country, people succeed when they have the chance to get a decent education and learnnewskills. (Applause.) And, by the way, so do the businesses that hire those people or the companies that those people start.
We should be giving people the chance to get newskills and training at community colleges so they can learn how to make wind turbines and semiconductors and high-powered batteries.
Why do we ask employees to attend week-long classroom sessions to learnnewskills, when most of their new-found knowledge often evaporates by the time they get home?
