Mr Cox starred in the Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy films as well as Braveheart, and was the first person to play Hannibal Lecter in the film Manhunter.
On the plus side, Emily Watson is very good (as was Joan Allen in Manhunter though) and Philip Seymour Hoffman is possibly the grubbiest, sleaziest character seen on screen in a while.
