The big design news in Stockholm this fall is the expansion ofthe flagship storeof Svenskt Tenn, the 87-year-old home-furnishings label known for the modernist furniture and fantastical textile patterns of Austrian-born architect Josef Frank (1885-1967).
Instead, the report itself admits that by the time a detailed design has been sketched out and the bidding process finished, actual construction ofthestore may not start until at least 2035.
In an article aptly titled The Myth Of Big Retail, journalist Sreenivasan Jain tells the story ofthe head of one of India's biggest retail chains explaining why his storedesign actually encouraged overcrowding.
Thedesign also includes a series of a series of "earth lobbies" that would store plants and trees with the intention of improving air-quality and, no doubt, the gloomy subterranean landscape.
In other words, technically they can change their design, storethe saved games and whatever data they are sending on your pc instead of on their servers.
