The commercial underbelly of the Cannes Film Festival is a nonstop frenzy of deal-making in luxury hotels along theCroisette promenade and aboard yachts moored offshore.
The iconic hotel sits on the ritzy Boulevard de la Croisette, and is also home to a lengthy list of stars who book rooms during the festival, including longtime guests such as Woody Allen, Quentin Tarantino and Jude Law.
We decided that if we must wear tuxedos then we would try to customize them so they would set us apart from the rest of the flock of penguin-suits patrolling the courgette, er Croisette.
