Brogan also took the 1000cc Superstock honours, where Relentless TAS Suzuki's Cameron Donald took a highly creditable third place, Manx road racer Conor Cummins was sixth, Alistair Seeley seventh and Uel Duncan runner Gary Johnson eighth.
Rainey was then approached by TAS Suzuki boss Philip Neill, who suggested that he use his experience to help out with running the team's British Superstock race project in 2009, involving riders Alastair Seeley and BJ Toal.
