My guess is that if it is done right, collaborative filtering of content can expose the long tail better than the current cable bundle, at which point Apple (or some other company) would really have something to talk to the cable companies about.
The tail was missing, and the current serpent was added in the late 18th century, curiously biting the goat's horn which diverges from other renditions of the chimera and was probably not the original design.
Each segment has an electromagnet attached to it, and these are activated by a current that flows from head to tail in more or less the way that a nerve signal flows in a real animal.
