Theoretically, a knowledgeable user could do 50 or 60 percent of what some of our early versions offered, but System Mechanic lets you achieve the same results with a few clicks instead of spending hours proving to yourself that you can manually maximize the allocation of resources, or having to settle for the defaultsettings of your operating system.
It's also more closely tied to the cloud, saving documents to Microsoft's SkyDrive storage system by default, so your documents and personal settings are remotely accessible.
Still, for some weird reason, only a portion of the bundled apps have Dynamic Display switch enabled by default, so users will need to go into "ASUS customized setting" in systemsettings to choose more apps.
Tests were performed used a Macintosh computer running Apple's operating system (OSX Lion) and Web browser (Safari version 5.1.3) with the defaultsettings enabled.
