Without specific guidelines and working off a few very simple design principles, the designers went back to what Michael referred to as Swiss classical graphic design but adapted it for the digital environment, which meant adding things like motion and animation effects.
The duo is informed by the traditions of Swiss-style graphic purism and the agitprop of the design collective Grapus, but fully embrace pop culture and the digital world.
