But Armand Peschard-Sverdrup, an expert who tracks U.S.-Mexican relations for the Center for Strategic and International Studies, doesn't expect NAFTA to be a dominant theme today.
"There has been an overriding theme of anxiety among investors about the stock market, " said Avi Nachmany, director of research at Strategic Insight, a mutual-fund research and consulting firm.
