Comiskey, the head of tax enforcement at the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, published a startlingreport in Tax Notes on the results to date of an ongoing two -year-old program.
The report's startling numbers are based on calculations by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that the Earth's atmosphere warmed by 0.74 degrees Celsius (1.33 degrees Fahrenheit) from 1906 to 2005, with much of that increase coming in recent decades.
That startling prediction is contained in a 94-page report the Vanguard Group released this week detailing the savings and investing habits of 3.2 million workers participating in the more than 2, 000 retirement plans it administers.
