Epic Games will offer the free edition of its Unreal Engine 3, including a suite of game-making tools, together in package called the Unreal Development Kit, starting tomorrow to game and application developers for the iPhone (3GS and 4), iPad and iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation).
Finally, we showcased several high-tech toys starting with Roominate -- a customizable house-building kit that can be configured with working circuits.
Fully sentient robots like Kit are still a ways off, but computer programmers are starting to make serious progress in the horrendously complex art of artificial intelligence.
