Schools are already making professional judgements about the quality of teaching and learning, the standardof marking and the preparation and planning of individual teachers.
There would also be questions about education from an individual's own education to the importance oflearning new things and satisfaction with the standardof the national education system.
The efforts of these organizations and many other like-minded groups are part of a national movement that would make social and emotional learning a free-standing, required learningstandard for grades pre-k through 12.
