As I wrote last week, the eighth annual Broadband Progress Report was poisoned by a pervasive double-speak that even the majority had a hard time taking seriously.
If anyone doubts how seriously those potentially impacted viewed the possibility of these very costly changes, just speak with any estate planner (me included) who feverishly worked on client gifting and transfers until the ball dropped over Times Square!
We are not taking the threat seriously if we do not answer basic questions about it and if we do not take the time to speak clearly and precisely when articulating it.
