Leslie Bradshaw: There have been someinteresting articles and books out in recent months around the topic of women ascending (or not) to higher levels in companies.
Some of these efforts have been less about making interesting apps, and more about ways to drive sales back to books, still the bread and butter for publishers.
Though Shirky's book seems the lighter weight of the two--that's unfortunately common with positive books, even though things tend to get better--on a quick pass it throws off someinteresting ideas.
