On Thursday the focus switched to Brussels, as the European Commission received a complaint from SolarWorld and other European manufacturers over alleged Chinese dumping.
This week Korean automaker Hyundai unveiled a multi-rotor flying electric car for congested cities and SolarWorld and PC-Aero announced plans to launch two new solar-powered electric airplanes at an air show in Germany.
Both companies manufacture components for photovoltaic panels and statements from their executives were issued and triumphed by the Coalition for Affordable Solar Energy, an alliance of solar installers and other companies opposed to SolarWorld Industries America, the U.S. subsidiary of a German photovoltaic manufacturer, to secure tariffs against Chinese competitors.
